Raw & Beautiful (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.rawandbeautiful.com or purchase from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to fulfill your order and operate our business:
- Contact & shipping information you provide at checkout: name, email address, shipping address, and phone number (if entered).
- Payment information processed directly by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your full card number. Stripe shares only the last four digits, card brand, and billing ZIP with us for receipt and customer-service purposes.
- Order history: items purchased, dates, amounts, and subscription status.
- Email correspondence if you contact us at help@rawandbeautiful.com.
- Basic site analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location from IP). We use this in aggregate to improve the site and do not link it to your identity.
2. How we use your information
- To process and ship your orders.
- To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and (for subscribers) renewal receipts and portal links.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To improve our products and website.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention).
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary with these service providers:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- USPS and our fulfillment provider — to ship your order.
- Email service provider — to send transactional and (if you opt in) marketing emails.
- Government authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights.
4. Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails to customers who explicitly opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, subscription receipts) will continue to be sent as needed to fulfill our service to you.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the site (cart, checkout) and limited analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may not function correctly.
6. Data retention
We retain order and customer information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above and to comply with tax and legal obligations (typically seven years for financial records). Marketing-only data is deleted when you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing help@rawandbeautiful.com. Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to know what information we hold and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, Stripe-hosted payment fields, and limited employee access to customer data. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
